Our Story
Making Change Possible
Inspired by a life-changing event, Zimem was established in 2009. Over the years, we have become a specialised online crowdfunding platform working hard to improve the lives of those in need impacted by financial and life’s hardships. Our members platform provides you the opportunity for crowdfunding. We are unique as we have a specific focus on debt and financial difficulties.
Australians have lots of debt. Our debt levels may be considered reasonable compared to world standards however Australian debt per person or household is often very high. A good example of this is where 50% of our earnings can go solely on paying a mortgage. Then there are bills and other expenses and don't forget Australians pay one of the highest taxes in the world.
Zimem was founded to help everyday Australians clear and wipe their debt and resume a good quality of life without the burdens that debt places. Zimem provides a member based crowdfunding platform that is both valuable and rewarding. Funds raised are carefully allocated to support people in need to wipe off debt, and reward its supporting members along the journey.
Zimem does not assign people it helps to payment schemes and agreements as other companies do which only keeps them in debt for longer. We focus on wiping the debt clean and freedom from debt and its burdens.

We also have a strong focus on homelessness and work very hard within our property branch to house many people in need.

We realised that many Australians were in similar situations, deserve a break and a second chance in life. Everyone has their own story of difficulty and so we owed it to ourselves to do something to support Australians in difficult financial situations. From there Zimem was born.

Ways We Help
The Focus of Our Efforts
Homelessness
Zimem has a dedicated property sector specifically aimed at helping people who have come under financial difficulty and as a result become homeless. We aim to find suitable housing that is affordable and construct homes for people in need. Become a part of this pledge of a brighter future and join our efforts today.
Debt
The debt program is our longest running initiative, based on the premise that making a real difference is not only possible but vital. At Zimem, we help many people and families who have come under the burden of crippling debt and get them back on their feet.

Local Empowerment
Zimem forms local communities that are positive and holds events to promote our Local Empowerment initiative which has proven to be a powerful tool for Zimem to successfully serve our community and improve countless lives.
